Summary: 2001 Failed 2010 Challenge.
* Mission to change past doesn't happen
* it's the same as the ep, up until Sam throws the letter through, In otherwords, SG dies.
* SHIPPY! must be more shippy than he ep, as that ep was no way near as shippy as several other episodes.
It could be an AU, and our universe travels to this one [the one where it didn't work] or something. Ya know, SG in 10, or is it 9? years in the future travel to this AU where that mission didn't work. If you do do the AU thing. Remember, you only get entropic cascade failure [like AU Sam in PoV] if there is a living AU self there. So basically, seeing as SG's counterparts are dead, no EC failure, for SG, Janet and Hammond.
AU is NOT a must.

Summary: 1999 Fairytale Challenge. Write a story using the SG characters using the, uhm, scenario set out below. You have to give it an ending though... I don't care if it's a happy one or not... it just has to have some sort of a resolution. Happy writing! :)
The bad and ugly king had a beautiful girl as a captive. Though her beauty shone like a thousand moons the dress she was forced to wear was very unbecoming. She waited day and night, looking with hope out the dungeon window, searching for the knight who would free her. However, every knight was scared away by her dress, which was very, very ugly. She was crying in hopelessness when the evil king jeered, "See, I told you no knight would rescue a damsel in this dress!"

Summary: 2000 Family Challenge.
Here are the requirements-
SG come back from a planet, SJ are married and Sam is pregnant. A few conditions, SJ must NOT regret it, Hammond is pleased, but a another high athorety figure soesn't. SJ keep the baby and DON'T devorce. Angst.Baby survives. Don't mean to sound strict, but this is my first chalenge. I will alow for bending of the rules as long as there is a VERY good reason for it, and it's well written into the story, or if it's vital for the story line. Please respond. Oh, and it musn't be vital to have seen any given episode, for the sake of new SG fans.

Summary: 2003 Felgar Challenge. Avenger: What if O'Neill and Teal'c never showed up in the ship? Felger is able to repair the gate when the Jaffa are bearing down on him and Sam. But as Sam turns around to move closer to Felger and the gate she is hit with a staff blast. Fleger is able to return to the SGC but Sam is captured by Baal. The story would obviously be S/J.

Summary: 2008. SG1 is captured and Jack is forced to fight (possibly to the death?) for their entertainment? The other fighters would also have to be innocents, forced into gladitorial-ish combat, possibly even Daniel or Teal'c. Jack, of course, would resist or take the worst of the fight rather than do harm to the other fighter.

write a fan fiction of what you think will happen in the final scene of the final episode. It can relate to spoilers about 6 season. Then when the episode airs we see who is the closest to that scene.

Summary: 2003 First Commandment Challenge.
At the end of first commandment, jonas tries to take sam through the gate, presumably a 'if i can't have her, noone will'....he was either taking her with him, or going under the assumption that hammond had the iris closed, he was going to kill her. Jack tackles him and the natives conveniently toss jonas through the gate, killing him and removing the stain of killign him from our guys. That's how the eps played out...now, more than once we've seen hammond NOT close the iris when it could be his people coming home. What if this was the case this time? Or what if Jonas hadn't dialed EArth but some other planet?which leads to some possible scenarios
a) jonas takes sam through the gate but instead of the sgc, they go to an unknown planet. What happens then? Where do they go? How do they, especially sam, get back home?
b) jonas takes sam through the gate and they end up at teh sgc. Well, if you've seen 2001, there's definitely room for some sam whumping after they fly through the gate. So let's say we have sam hurt (jonas either hurt or dead, whatever) and a nice potential for some comfort seeing as she really doesn't have many friends yet, and is estranged from her father. plenty of room for sam and sam and jack angst...jack could even think she's dead until he gets home.
c) jonas goes through the gate like he does in the show, sg-1 thinks he's dead, he's really alive and they go home and have to face that. mucho opportunity for sam angst.

Summary: 2002 Fish Tank Challenge.
Okay, I watched Shadow Play at SC2K2 (with an SJer, woo!), so I didn't get too much of the ep, but I saw the fish tank in what looks like Jonas' office. Anyway, I had a vision of Sam and Jack sneaking in there, locking the door and going fishing in his fish tank, perhaps after (or while) doing some blue Jello shots. Could someone please write this? Jack clones and cookies to anyone who does.

Summary: 2001 Flashbacks Challenge.
What would happen if Sam was ever put back in that cell she spent time in from the ep 'In the line of duty'. She has to have very bad memories about that time, and especially that cell. Think of all the things that happened to her in there. She was literally murdered while she was in it. It could be like- for some reason Sam has to go back into 'that' cell and starts having flashbacks to what happened to her in there. Maybe she can't get out(she gets locked in on accident, or she's under arrest)and she starts having a panic attack. This in turn will bring up fresh memories of Jolinar's to her. So she's not only dealing with her own horrific memories, but Jolinar's as well. I just don't seem to be in the mood to write, so if anyone thinks this is an interesting idea, go for it. I hope someone does because I'd like to read about it.

Just thought it would be incredibly sweet since its not really his thing, and he would be doing it for her.. and Im imagining him all embarassed and shy and just shoving the flowers into her hands...

Summary: 2004 Foothold Challenge. Watching 'Foothold' again the other day and noticed that Sam was kinda out of it all the way through due to the sedative that had been given to her by the aliens.
As the aliens were interrogating Teal'c they told him that Sam would die if she wasn't returned to them due to the injection they gave her......So i was thinking that it would a be a great fic to see Sam collapse due to this (I'm going on the presumption that the aliens were not lying to Teal'c even though they probably were).
There is also the added injury of being hit by the alien impersonating Gen.Hamond so this could also affect her more...
Whether it follows the storyline and only changes after the episode finished or if Sam collapses during the episode.

Summary: 2001 Forced Challenge.
While on a mission or shortly after, Jack becomes either drugged or intoxicated. He forces Sam to sleep with him, and she becomes pregnant. Sam either doesn't tell Jack she is pregnant or tell him she lost the baby, if she is still speaking to him. Sam leaves the SGC, leaving Jack to deal with an irate Daniel, Tiel'c, Janet and Hammond. Jack eventually goes to Sam, discovers she is still pregnant. A happy ending would be good, but I'll take angst.

Summary: 2001 Former CO Challenge.
In CotG Sam was very defensive when she met Jack. Many have speculated that it was because she's dealt with a hard CO/COs in the past and figured he'd be no different. The challenge is to write a fic where she runs into her old CO. What's her reaction? How does this guy treat her and how does Jack react when he finds out?

okay here is the challenge:
* -- must involve the whole team, Janet is an option (ducks away from D/J shippers)(the team does not have to be together for the entire story, just some of the critical stuff)
* -- someone trying to teach Teal'c how to play Rock, Paper, Scissors (yes I got the idea from Farscape)
* -- the team (or just sam and jack or both situations) reading the fortunes from chinese fortune cookies the "right way". For those who don't know before you read the fortune you say, "In bed and under the covers..." and then you read the fortune. example 'In bed and under the covers, you will reach new heights to meet your dreams.' It's a fortune straight from dinner last night, I swear! :}
It can be angsty, or sappy, which ever suits you better. Feel free to e- mail me OFF list if you want to pair up to do this. (I write better with another person, I don't know if this is true for anyone else.)
