Summary: 2002 Deep Impact Challenge. A fic in which sam and jack are only friends to begin with. earth (or whatever) is in danger of the destruction of humankind (asteroids, goa'uld or something more terrible)and they're picking only all the top ppl - scientists and the like - SG are all included except jack. from there, they figure out that for jack to live, he has to marry one of the ppl picked (heheee) so that happens, yet they're only still friends - and amidst the adventures and fight for survival following (hint hint nudge nudge), their friendship grows into everything us ppl support * g * if you've seen Deep Impact, you'll know where i got this from :)

Summary: 2003 Defying Orders Challenge. 1.) Sam and Jack have to start out with UST at the beginning. Whether or not it's resolved is up to you 2.) Jacob has to think that something is going on between S/J and question them about it. (He's not happy) 3.) The team defies a direct order. 4.) Jack has to say to General Hammond: "I figured that it would be easier to ask for forgiveness rather than permission." You can end the statement there, or add on, "Besides, since we didn't ask, you technically didn't say no." It all depends on your take on the story. You can also adapt it so that instead of 'I', Jack says "We figured..." Again, depends on your take of it. Okay, that's about it. Remember, major UST, and Jacob needs a big part in it. Plus, he IS NOT(at least right away) about the idea of S/J being together, You can decide whether or not they actually are, but he needs to at least think they are.

Summary: 2005. This is an Emancipation post-ep fic challenge. In Emancipation Jack traded a gun for Sam and by Mongol law she is now his wife. Sam and Jack don't know this. But in debriefing Daniel reveals that Sam and Jack are now married. Your job is to write consenquences of this revelation. For appearances sake they are ordered to move in together and live as a married couple so as not to blemish the image of the USAF (ok I know it's not realistic, but just go with it). Can also be how J&S get used to the married life. A few conditions: 1. it has to end with Jack and Sam happy, in love and married. Them having children would be a bonus 2. if someone dies, it has to be a bad guy 3. it has to be a total Jack/Sam shipper fic 4. can be angst but the ending must be shippery happy.

Summary: 2003 Enemy Within Challenge. A different version of 'The enemy within,' in which Jonas Hanson was previously jacks 2nd, (they don't have to be as close as he was with kawalski, or even like each other much). So he gets snaked instead of Kawalski. Leads onto some nice Sam whumping (but not too extreme) and therefore Jack/Sam interactions.
