I really liked the story, although the bit about Sam's schooling was a little confusing. At one point you said they were friends from the Academy, and at one point from MIT. Later, you seem to indicate she went tocollege at MIT. We know she attended college at the USAF Academy. Not sure if they mention where she got her doctorate. It certainly could have been MIT.

A wonderful story , filled with romance, restraint, and a great surprise ending that gives Sam, Jack, and the readers back his/her "equalibium" . Much enjoyed.
