Very moving. As the Bible - and I'm sure many other books reiterate - there is a time to mourn and a time to dance. Unfortunately, we do not get to choose when, just whether we will deny or embrace the moment. The timing is rarely convenient, however, until one is able to mourn their losses they never truly move on. And that was the crux of what I got out of your story.
