Author's Response: You would think so, but I based Jack's skill on what we saw in season 4's "Divide and Conquer," in which he was fumbling either the Forward Pass or Around the World. It could have just been though, the fact that he was sitting down that made him fumble it vs not being able to do the basic trick. (Maybe his increased skill in later episodes was a result of Teal'c's tutoring!) As for National Donut Day: Sorry! Missed learning about it in enough time, but I'll mark it down for future.
