Chapter 1 by Anna S
Jack: Well that was an interesting few days.
Sam: You can say that again
Jack: Well that was an interesting few days.
[Sam gives him a filthy look, which Jack ignores by drinking from his bottle of beer.]
Jack: I can't believe you went to Maybourne of all people.
Sam: Well I didn't think anyone would contact him, I mean who would?
Hammond: Me, or at least my counterpart.
Daniel: But it wasn't really you, you.
Janet: Well actually, it was, or at least using your experiences and knowledge. He knew everything you knew, and 'what' you would do.
Jack: You mean that you would contact Maybourne voluntarily? Carter was at least desperate.
Sam: Thanks (grimace), I think.
Jack: So what did you have to say to convince him?
Sam: Not much, that man needs no excuse to try and come to Cheyenne Mountain. (Grinning wickedly at the memory) Although I did get to call him an idiot!
Daniel: Way to GO Sam!
Hammond: Major, care to expand?
Sam: (Grinning) When he said that he had talked with you I kind of lost my temper.
Jack: You?
Sam: Yeah, I told him that he was an idiot every day of the week, why couldn't he take one day off?
[Table erupts laughing]
Hammond: I guess that means I'll have to wait for the Colonels report.
Sam: Nah, I think he forgave me after I killed Colonel O'Neill.
Jack: What?
Daniel: You killed Jack?
Janet: How could you kill HIM?
Sam: (looking at bit sheepish) Well, he looked like an alien.
Jack: Remind me never to look a mess on missions, you might kill me.
Davies: At least when you hit Janet, you didn't kill her.
Janet: You hit me?
Jack: Yeah, but it hurt me more! Davies here was the one that cradled you. Besides I didn't peak.
Davies: Much
Janet: What were you peaking at?
Jack: Don't worry Doc, I was just looking for one of those round thingys on your chest.
Janet: Only one? (Enjoying seeing the Colonel squirm)
Jack: You know what I mean, Carter help me out here?
Sam: You know those images 'were' amazingly detailed.
Daniel: (worriedly) What do you mean?
Sam: It was all in the name of science Daniel, I just had to know how advanced the images were.
Daniel: (groaning) You didn't, please tell me you didn't?
Sam: (sadistic grin) Daniel, you have nothing to be ashamed of.
Hammond: So all in all, nothing much happened. The Major killed the Colonel, the Colonel hit Janet and found her chest thing, Teal'c put a few men in the infirmary, and Maybourne helped save the day.
Sam: Oh yeah, and you hit me and threw me across my lab
Hammond: What?
Jack: You hit Sam?
Hammond: Well you hit the Doctor
Sam: And undressed her!
Jack: Well you killed me!
Janet: So Major Davies, how long did you actually hold me for?
Davies: Only till you turned into a monster.
Jack: Wrong time of the month?
Janet: Sam can you kill him again?
Daniel: So...Um... Sam, how long did you actually use the imaging device for?
Teal'c just sat there with one eyebrow raised and watched them argue.
