I know I shouldn't do this, but she's so warm, so alive, honeysuckle and sunlight. Floating from her skin. And she's holding me just as tight.

The wicked witch is dead. A Hathor flavoured Popsicle. And the beast within me silenced. The nightmare unfulfilled. Hers was the death I dreaded most. Above the others. The one "it" reveled in, taunting me. Crimson tide over moonlight skin.

Too close to losing her. But at least my instincts are intact. She's in my arms. I know I can never tell her, but I'm glad. It's not against the regs to love her.
