"Sorry, I guess I had one too many beers," Jack slurred.
Sam's entire body screamed with frustration. "Just one?" she enquired sarcastically. "I need a drink of water. You?"
"Yeah," he grunted.
When Sam returned, she saw Jack was fast asleep and snoring, lying flat on his back with his mouth open. She grimaced. Had she really waited over three years for *this*? "I need to find a real man," she muttered quietly.
~Later~
"Daniel?"
"Yeah?"
"You don't drink, do you?"
"Not often." Blue eyes stared at her, baffled. "Why?"
"You could be just the man I've been looking for...."
