Author's Notes: Just a drabble that I wrote feeling incredibly alone and unloved. So Jack and I are one and the same tonight. Very dark. Not happy. I have warned you. Also. totally unbetad any mistakes are all mine.
Chapter 1 by Kelda AJ
He looks on in sad silence. The hurt coursing through him in agonizing waves. He knew that something had changed after her time on the Prometheus. He knew that this was something a long time in coming. What he hadn't prepared himself for was the betrayal and isolation that now claimed his soul. He remembers the dark days of before and realizes that he is sinking back into the well that almost once claimed his life. "But she is happy. That's all you have ever wanted." The mantra repeating in his head drowning out the bitterness of being alone once again.
