If Wishes were Horses
It wasn't that she didn't love Joe. She had dedicated her life to him since leaving the SGC. They had built dreams together, had planned a future with children - one boy, and one girl.
It was kind of your perfect little family - something she never thought would ever have been her dream.
And despite all that, despite not being able to imagine her life without her husband, there were times when their lips met that she allowed herself to remember.
Too much had happened between them, but even now, occasionally, she wished it was Jack O’Neill kissing her.
