Watching Daniel at a briefing, team teaching with Carter, is reminder that he has lost more than one life to the Stargate. Scholar, lover...he doesn't get much chance to be either, here. It is good to see him inspired and enthusiastic; Carter's smile is infectious as they light upon some obscure fact or spin a fantastic theory.

But it's just paperwork, after all.
