So buddy Thor need our help again, Jack said walking down the SGC's
hallway. I wonder why he is acting like this, I said to my self.
Sir, I thought that you liked Thor. I do Carter but isn't it time he
does somthing for us? Us? Yes, Carter, us as in SG-1. Oh yah that
us. Morning General Hammond. Morning Colonel, Major. Thor needs you
help again SG-1. Yah I know.Jack said. What is it
this time? he asked. Well apparently somone saved 10 pieces to a
replicator...... And Thor needs us to save his butt right? Jack said
interrupting Hammond. Right. said Hammond. You will embark in 0300hrs.
Are you ready O'Neill? asked Thor as the hollogram popped up in the
breifing room. Sure, what happened to three hours?
O'Neill I could use some assistance now. Thor gently aruged back.
Carter,Teal'c, Daniel you have four mins, don't be late. Jack said
looking distinctivly at Daniel.
(Now aboard Thor's ship)
So how many "bugs" are on the Carter? asked Jack. Excuse me? Carter
is the name of the ship, Sam. said Daniel
protecting Jack from "the look." Yes we are aboard the Daniel Jackson.
Thor said . Hey what about Teal'c? Lets see the O'Neill blew
up, the Carter is infested with bugs, and this is the Daniel Jackson.
Jack stated sarcastically. Actually O'Neill I am building a Teal'c
the strongest ship yet, in replace for the soon loosing of the
Carter.Thor told Jack. (I looked over at Teal'c he seemed quite pleased
that his ship would be the strongest.) Now back to the
replicators...about how many are on the ship? I asked. So far I have
calculated about thirty-two. Thor said worridly. Now I need O'Neill
and Major Carter to be aboard the Carter. Teal'c and Dr. Jackson
will be some of assistance to me and the both of you. Now Dr. Jackson
will give you directions and Teal'c will warn you of any
replicators.Thor said to all of us. Right then when Thor said Daniel
would give directions I thought that the Colonel would have to
be extra careful. Then Jack said interrupting my thoughts, For cryin'
out loud why does Daniel have to give the direct......
tions. (Right when he said "tions" we were apon the "Carter". ) This
feels weird being upon a ship sharing the same name as
you. I said. Well at least yours isn't blown up. "Yet" I said to him.
Oh yah "yet".... so then we'll be even. "Even for what?" "For you
always being smarter than.......... me. Astonished I looked around at
all the technology that could of been used . " Now I understand
why Thor called it "the Carter." "Is that a bad thing sir?" "Well
common Carter look around at all the geeky stuff." Oh so am I a
geek? Ummm ooh lets look down this hallway. Whoa Carter look out! Soon
I see a large clan of replicators coming strait for me.
Teal'c aren't you suppose to be warning me? Jack yelled as he shot at
the clan of "bugs". Teal'c? Daniel? Thor?? O'Neill we .....
loosing....... connection. Teal'c said trying to be as clear as he
could. Well, sir, least we don't have to take direction from Daniel.
That's the only good news ....look at this. 10,17,23,34.......there
are too many to count. Lets try this hallway. Replicators started
shooting out of every direction. Jack, Daniel yelled to him, push the
fourth button on the side panel to close the door. So thats
what he did while I kept the replicatiors from comming any closer to
him. Sir, we have to find the main power system fast! I know
that Carter! Jack snapped back. Daniel,Jack said practically
screaming, were to nex? Take a left then a (static). Left the what?
Right. Daniel screamed. Sir! Great!Jack yelled sarcasrically. Daniel
tell Thor there is a hole I repeat a big hole on the west north side
of the ship. Sam, the power system is just ahead.......Daniel started
to say when Teal'c interrupted saying "O'Neill there are several
holes aboard the Carter, Thor says you have under thirty minutes. We
have to turn off our radios to not attracted any more
replicators. I said to the Colonel sternly. Yes O'Neill I agree with
Major Carter. Teal'c said. Fine O'Neill out....and Carter out. the
colonel said. We're on our own now. Open this room Carter. Yes Sir.
We opened it to fine a computer with a warning saying oxygen level
decreasing. Then it shut off. Great! yelled the Colonel.
Let's go find the oxygen tanks. They are over here Sir, but one is
half full and one is completely full. You take the full one and i'll
take the half one. (For a moment his eyes met mine as if he were
telling me that he didn't care if he died just as long as I lived.
Sorrow filled my eyes with the Carter drifting farther apart from Thor
and the rest of SG-1)
Carter lets get a move on. We have a power system to shut down! We
opened the door with our oxygen tanks fully on and stepped
through to finally find the power source. Sir, I have an idea but i'm
not sure it will work. I'm up for any thing right about now Carter.
You know how the explosion of the O'Neill destroyed many of the
replicators....... Wait are you saying to just blow us up like no big
deal?! The Colonel snapped back. Not exactly I think the ship has
enough power to still use the control key and to close the doors
right when we blow the main power system. But how could
we.................. Jack!!!!! Sir?! Sir?! Answer me you
can't do this to me
not now not ever. I looked at his oxygen tank....empty. No, no,no. How
could this happened? I calculated about two hours letf in
that thing. Looking down at my watch it had been two hours and now i
would never get the cahnce to finally tell him how I felt. If I
only resigned when i was going to do........ No wait I can't be like
this. I hate the replicators! They must be destroyed. I pulled the
unconscience Colonel to a safe spot. Then I must finish what I was
going to do. I check my tank and it still had quite a bit so I filled
up the colonels and left. So I had to attract the replicators so I
pushed the engines harder and sure enough they came
around a 100 of them I out the C4 on the main system and quickly left.
I only set it for 20seconds, so that meant I had to drag the
Colonel 20 secs away from the blast. I pulled him as far as I could
quickly closing the other door(not the hallway closest to the
replicators) but another hallway with another door . Unfortunately I
was not on the same side as the Colonel. I wanted to be but I
didn't want to get him hurt. I didn't know how powerful the blast was
going to be so I only had enough time to cover my head amd
curl up into a ball. The balst went off I heard screeching noises from
the replicators it sounded good to know that they were going
to be destroyed. The blast hit the door and boke it and a peice of a
replicator slammed into my oxygen tank. I was horrified. I heard
the noise of air leaving the tank! I quickly opened the door to where
my CO was and closed the door behind me. The air was
leaking fast out of my tank, so out of instinct I turned on my radio
and yelled for help. "Help" "Teal'c?" My voice started to die
down as Teal'c ansewered saying" Major Carter what is the matter? With
my last breath befor I passed out I said "Everything."
"Dr.Jackson immediatly get Thor!" He nodded and left for Thor.
Dr.Jackson is everything giong ok? "I don't
think so there is an angry Jaffa man in there and it's not pretty."
Thors eyes widend, as he walked to the "angry Jaffa". "Major
Carter and O'Neill need our assistance. he said practically yelling.
They have fulfilled their mission but they are out of oxygen. Thor
quickly tracked them to where they were and transported them as well
as Daneil and Teal'c to Earth.
General Hammond was waiting for their return impatiently when all of
the sudden he saw and unconscience Colonel
and Major lying on the floor. He quickly yelled for Dr. Fraiser and
for a medical team. About two seconds after he said that Daniel
and Teal'c arrived well and unhurt. Carter and Jack were rushed to the
infirmary were Fraiser poked them with needles and iv
wires.
(5 hours later)
Owww my head where am I? Where's Jack nooo is it too late? Sam!
You startled me. I was checking the moniter when your heart
rate went up. Fraiser said Startled at first the calmed down. Janet
where is Jack? Is he dead? This is all my fault....... Sam honey
calm down, Jack will be fine. He is still uconscience though. Wait did
you just callhim Jack?Janet asked. Yes I did. Now where is
he? He is in the bed right next to you. Can I talk to him alone? I
suppose they can still hear you when they are unconscience. Janet
said. (Fraiser Left ) Jack I know you can here me. You can't leave
me, you just can't. I'm sick of hiding how I feel about you. I am
ready to resign for you. Right then I held his hand and felt his hand
grip mine tighter.
(2 hours later)
I am still here Jack. Please don't leave me. I laid my head down on
his hand and slightly dose off. About 20 mins. had passed when
I heard some groaning. I jumped right up head smacking Jack right in
the nose. Awwww Carter! Oh Jack I am so sorry! Owww what
Jack? I mean si... no yes thats right Jack i'm resigning for you....
What no you can't . I mean I need you. Wait ... I mean...... Jack stop.
I'll do anything for you. I love you. I know I heard you. But I want
you to keep working here and keep continually doing your job.
And what might "my" job be?
Keeping me happy! Jack said. I smiled at him and shook my head in
agreement.
