As I sit here out on the deck, at Jacks house I think about it. Would I? Would I be brave enough? I'm here for a team night, even if Jack isn't on SG1 anymore. I never imagined him as a General. I saw this written somewhere today, on the way over here, and now I can't get it out of my head. I look at the ring on my finger, and think can I love Pete as much as Jack? Or am I kidding my self? Do I want the something good or the something perfect that might never be?'
I sit there a bit longer until it hits me. I want the something perfect, not the something good, because I know, one day, that it will be.
