Summary: 2000 Gamekeeper Challenge.
You all know the episode "The Gamkeeper". And your mission will be now: What might have happened if not Jack and Dani remembered but Sam and Teal'c? You can mix the couples new (Daniel mustn't visit Sam's memories, Jack can be instead of him with her, for example) or not. All doesn't matter. A romance is a must- be. Summary: 2000 AU Chevron Challenge.
Sam has been trying to get the Stargate to accept the 8th chevron. During one experiment, after accepting the 7th chevron the Stargate ring moves. It doesn't lock in the 8th chevron, but a wormhole is established somehow. SGC sends a MALP in to investigate. The MALP emerges on a planet where there are x number of Stargates (x = 2, 3, 4, .... whatever you choose). SG is sent to investigate. Either all or a portion of the team enter the Stargate. Once there, they see the other Stargates activate and out step AU SG team(s). The AU Sam's have been trying the same thing. Suddenly, one of the aliens from the other galaxy appears and says they brought all the Sam and Jack's there to warn them not to continue trying to engage the 8th chevron - mankind isn't ready to join them. The aliens then activate all the Stargates and everyone goes back to their reality. (It would be interesting to see how many S&J's are together. Any married? Any with kids?)

Summary: 2000 AU Gate Colour Challenge.
SG are exploring a new world. It's got lots of trees, no natives, no indication of Goa'uld. But it does have a second Stargate, which is some distance away from the one SG used. It looks like a normal Stargate, but when they input a destination in the DHD, the resulting event horizon isn't blue, it's another color. Daniel and Teal'c stay, while Sam and Jack step through the other Stargate. When they step through, they find themselves in the SGC. But it's an AU SGC. Finally, an opportunity for Jack to talk with an AU Jack face to face. Can you imagine listening in on a meeting with 2 Jack's and 2 Sam's around the conference table? I can see each Jack trying to out do the other. All the stories I've read have had AU people visiting our SGC. This turns the tables.

Summary: 2000 Mark Challenge.
I noticed that there are very few stories with Mark Carter(Sam's brother) and none where Mark finds out about the whole Salmak/Jacob thing. And since I've been woprking on one something like this and the terror that is writer's block has captured not only myself but my muse as well...I need inspiration. So want to issue a challenge including the following things....
1.)Sam/Jack established relationship(secret or not)
2.)The Tok'Ra (obviously since it has to include Jacob/Selmak) and preferably Martouf(kill him, let him live, I don't care)
3.)Someone saying "Oops" in reguard to Mark finding out about Jacob/Selmak.
Extra hapiness on my part for humour, and romance:- )

Sam has passed on, and someone - probably her replacement on SG, attends her funeral along with everyone else, and the story is that person's observations of the mourners. Clichéd, and it's been done before, but hey! Doesn't mean it can't be done again. Needs to be from a guest POV and include the song "Just One Life" by Brian May.

Summary: 2000 Crystal Skull Challenge.
Janet said the radiation had affected the hypothalamus which controls things like heat, heartrate, etc which is why Jack was all feverish...OK I stray from the point.. what she didn't mention was that the hypothalamus also controls emotions and hormornes so I'm wondering what might have happened when Sam woke up and if the others weren't there. Jack would still be out of whack and Sam would definitely be feeling the effects of the radiation, so less control over their emotions and an increased libido thanks to the hormone- regulation going haywire and what could we get? It would be another perfectly good excuse to medically explain away whatever might happen between them. Anyone wanna make a fic out of it?

I have for you a song which I think was inspired by the way Sam smiles at Jack and Jack smiles at Sam with that "Secret Smile - Semisonic" They both do it , watch and see...... I would also like to issue the "Secret Smile" challenge, it can involve the lyrics if you wish, but mostly it should include Sam or Jack noticing or thinking to themselves about the "Secret Smile" If that makes any sense to anyone.

okay here is the challenge:
* -- must involve the whole team, Janet is an option (ducks away from D/J shippers)(the team does not have to be together for the entire story, just some of the critical stuff)
* -- someone trying to teach Teal'c how to play Rock, Paper, Scissors (yes I got the idea from Farscape)
* -- the team (or just sam and jack or both situations) reading the fortunes from chinese fortune cookies the "right way". For those who don't know before you read the fortune you say, "In bed and under the covers..." and then you read the fortune. example 'In bed and under the covers, you will reach new heights to meet your dreams.' It's a fortune straight from dinner last night, I swear! :}
It can be angsty, or sappy, which ever suits you better. Feel free to e- mail me OFF list if you want to pair up to do this. (I write better with another person, I don't know if this is true for anyone else.)

Summary: 2000 Cosmo Challenge.
Okay guys, I was reading Cosmopolitan and it had this article about signs a guy gives when he loves you. Of course I started thinking about Jack (sad but true) and I thought this could make an interesting fic.
So, Sam has to wonder whether Jack loves her 'cause he hasn't said the 'L' word yet. Must include Jack using four or more of the 'Cosmo' signs. These are-
* You catch him staring at you
* He talks about where he'll be in three years
* He wears the jumper you gave him all the time
* He stands next to you in public
* There's stuff you like in his kitchen (ie 'girlie' food)
* He doesn't flinch when you answer his phone
* He arrives at the resteraunt for dinner before you do
* He remembers the names of your friends (and not just the pretty ones)
* He does things with you during prime television sports time
* He tells you the secret that his best friend told him never to tell anyone
* He picks you up from the airport... during peak hour
* He asks about your family.
The final part of the challenge is that Sam can't figure it out for herself. Someone has to point out the signs to her (or perhaps she somehow gets her hands on a copy of June's Cosmopolitan?).
