THE MISTLETOE LESSON By Ann M

As with other Christmas's every one gathered for the customary party. The usual teasing was going on, among people who care a lot about each other. Teal'c asked a lot of question, being new to the customs of earth. Jack tried to explain. Then Sam tried. Daniel also took a turn.

They finaly got around to Mistletoe. "Well this is easy to explain." said Jack. "Shy, timid folk thought it up as a way to get a kiss."

"Why not just grab someone and Kiss them." Teal'c said dryly.

"You can't just grab some one, Teal'c. She'll let you have it." Jack decided to demonstrate.

Teasingly he looked passed Sam with that shy smile that melted her heart. Her hopes fading he suddenly turned put the mistletoe over her head as his arm went around her waist. Just as suddenly his warm lips touched hers. She melted like slipping into a warm bath.

Teal'c could see Sam being swept away. She seemed to forget anyone else was in the room.

"Ah yes," said Teal'c. "This is one of your better customs."

Every one laughed.
