TV Love

Watching the screen I wonder,
how can they not know?
He loves her and she loves him,
and yet they are not together.
They know not that the other cares,
nor even that they care for the other.
Relationships fraught with hate and love,
sarcasm permeating every conversation.
Unrealized sexual tension,
underlying every scene.
Growing closer, almost friends,
learning to trust the other.
Finally culminating in a kiss or more,
in the very final episode.

It's the last line that doesn't really work, with either of the shows I was writing about (Stargate and Farscape), but it's what fit in the flow.
