My heart is pounding. Did he say what I thought he said?

I try to remain casual. "Was that an invitation, Sir?"

I don't know what I want him to say. If it's not... I knew all along he didn't feel the same way I do. The whole Edora thing proved that... but let's not go there. But if it was... then what? I can't just go off to Minnesota with him, right? Can I?

I am on leave after all... going fishing together doesn't violate any regs...

I can't. I'm sure I'd do something... crazy, all alone with him.
