Title: Three and Counting

Author: Marta Jadczyk jaksgrl@hotmail.com

Rating: G

Spoilers: POV

Summary: Daniel sees something in the AU mirror.

Note: Set in the scene from POV where Daniel is trying to find the right AU.

Daniel looked at the mirror. Nope, that one isn't the right one either. He adjusted the controlling device. A new image came into view. It was the corridor, but there was no sign of damage. In fact it looked quite peaceful. He was about to change the image as Sam and Jack came into view. She was laughing at something he just said, one of his bad jokes no doubt, and Daniel smiled thinking about how many times he had seen 'his' friends in the same situation. His expression changed to one of amused astonishment as Jack looked up and down the corridor and, finding that he and Sam were alone, leaned in to kiss her. She responded so naturally that Daniel had no doubts that they had done this before. A lot. A grin spread across the anthropologist's face as he moved the mirror image into the next dimension.

"Three and counting, Jack."

The End.
