The Unexpected Visit.

Jack O'Neill opened the sliding door that led out to the porch in his back yard, he handed a beer to the love of his life, Samantha Carter.

Just as they started getting cozy in the lawn chair he heard the doorbell ring.

"Ugggggh, why don't they just leave us alone?" He mumbled quietly to himself as he stood.

"Sit back down Jack, I'll get the door." Sam said, pushing his back down on the chair.

When she opened the door Sam was greeted by a smiling face.

"Hello, what can I do for you?" Sam asked nicely.

"Oh hello, I'm looking for Jonathan, I am his mother Debbie." The woman said, giving Sam the once over.

"Oh, Jack didn't tell me that he was expecting his mother." Sam said, opening the door so Deb could enter.

"I'm here to surprise him, just seeing how my son is doing, are you his new girlfriend?"

"Yea, you could say that. He's right out here on the porch." Sam said, leading Deb out onto the back porch.

"Okay what regulation did we break now?" Jack said turning around in the chair. "Mom!" was all that came out as he caught sight of his mother.

"Hello Jonathan, what have you been up to?" His Mother asked smugly.

"Uh...I'm alright...'´ Jack looks at Sam and smiles.. "This is my girlfriend, Sam...'´

Sam smiles and kisses Jack lightly on the cheek as he nervously wraps his arm around her waist.

"Hi, nice to meet you," Sam said, still smiling. "Jack talks about you all the time!"

"Oh, does he?" Deb says dryly, glancing at Jack.

Sam looks at Debbie and then at Jack. "Yeah, all the time...'´

Jack interrupted their conversation nervously. "So, Mom, how have you been? What brings you into town?"

"I'm doing fine... I left your dad...'´

Sam looks at Jack, who is standing there with his mouth open..

"Why? What happened?" Jack asked, repeatedly throwing out questions for his mother, "You two were...good! Workin'! Nothing was-"

"He was having an affair...'´ She said, interrupting Jack. "So I left.."

Sam looks upset, though she barely knew the woman. "Oh I'm so sorry...."

*Jack can't really love her.. she is way too young for him* (mom)

"Oh, I'll be fine, sweetie.. that dick never loved me anyway...'´

Jack looks at Sam, then at his mother.. "So what's up? Where are you staying?"

Deb sits down on a lawn chair... "Well, I'm not too sure where I'm going...'¥'´

Deb's voice trailed off... *I can't believe this...just when Sam and I get a whole weekend alone, Mom doesn't have a place to stay...* (Jack)

She stands up.. "Well, I'm gonna leave you two alone and go out for dinner."

Jack leads his mother to the door, leaving Sam on the back porch. "Well, when you are done eating, feel free to come back and make yourself at home.."

She walks to her car, gets in and drives away. As soon as he can't see her anymore, he turns around only to see Sam waiting quietly behind him. He smiles. "Sam, it's getting pretty late...'´ He says as he shuts the door.

Sam noticed the twinkle in Jack's eye as he closed the door behind him.

"Ohhh and what do you have in mind Colonel?"

"I think you can guess.." He walked up to her and pinned her to the bed, bringing his lips down to hers.

She worked her way to the buttons on his pants, after removing them she flipped him over so that she was on top straddling his legs. She leaned forward running her tongue along the inside of his ear.

"Ohhhh.. that tickle?" She said as he griped her hips harder.

"Yea.." he squeaked out.

"mmm" She said as she ran her tongue all along his abs, working her way down. When her mouth took him in it was like pure heaven for him. Then one thing just clicked in his mind. His mother.

"Uhhh Sam, as much as I love that, **ahem** She might be back soon." He said, still enjoying every second of the pleasure, when she stopped he flipped her back over and continued ripping her clothing off her.

"Ohhh, Jack.. in such a hurry." Sam said as Jack removed her panties and spreaded her thighs.

"Uh huh." He agreed as he slid into her. At the beginning he kept a slow pace with her, they both kept perfect rhythm, as always. When it was over he collapsed on her and they both fell asleep.

About an hour later Jack awoke from the doorbell. When he reached the door it was his mother, "Hey, welcome back."

"Thanks, is there any place for me to put my stuff?" Deb asked.

"Yea, come with me I'll help you get set up in the guest room." Sam's soft voice said as she walked up behind Jack.

"You live here?" Deb said, looking Sam up and down skeptically. "Yup, this way. Go get some sleep, Jack." Sam said, giving Jack a light kiss on the cheek.

Sam led Debbie up to the guest room and set one of her suitcases down.

"Well it's not emerald palace but it will do, Thanks, you guys have been a lot of help." Deb said surveying the room.

"Emerald Palace? Oh you are Jack's mother!."

"So, how long have you and Jonathan been together?"

"About two months."

"So when is the wedding?" Deb asked, like a little kid that was just taken to the candy shop.

"We aren't engaged."

"You will be soon, I see the way he looks at you, I know my son, when he wants something he goes for it."

"Really?" Sam said, blushing.

"Oh yea...'´

The Next Day:

Sam is sitting a foot away from Jack on the couch, she was reading some romance novel as Jack leaned over and kissed her on the neck.

"Jack, what if your mother walks in?" Sam said, leaning her neck to give him more room.

"She went out with a few friends, she won't be back for hours." He said as his lips reached hers.

She put the book behind her and turning to a more comfortable position, She adjusted her body so she was sitting on him, all of the time she continued kissing him.

Just as his hand reached up her shirt, the door opened and his mother stepped in.

"OH! I am so sorry! Uhhh I'll come back at a later time." Deb said fighting the redness from rushing up to her face.

"MOM!!" Jack yelled as both him and Sam jumped from the couch, "your back early!" He said, with the blood rising into his cheeks.

"Ohmygod, this is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me." Sam said as she straightened her shirt and sat back down on the couch.

"Look, I'll just leave so you two can be alone. I didn't mean to interrupt anything, I'm sorry." Deb said, reaching for the doorknob.

"No, mom, it's okay, you can stay here." Jack said, walking over to his mom.

Sam stood up, "I'm going to go take a shower," she said, pointing to the bathroom.

"Okay, hon, see you later…" Jack said, eyes trailing after her.

"I think we need to talk." Deb said, watching Jack watch Sam.

"Um, okay, mom," Jack said, sitting back down on the couch, "what about?"

Deb sat down next to Jack. "About you and Sam." She said.

"Err, um, okay…" Jack said nervously.

"So, you really love her, don't you?" She asked, looking at the pictures on the coffee table.

"Yeah," Jack said, "I really do."

"So are you going to ask her to marry you?" She asked.

"We've only been together for.. two months." He replied.

Deb stood up. "She wants to marry you, I see the way she looks at you."

Jack blushed. "Really?"

"Yeah. Really." Deb replied. "And besides, your father and I were together for only about a month when we got married."

"Oh and that is just the perfect example. He cheated on you!" Jack said standing up to face her.

"Will you please not bring that up?" Deb said, turning away from Jack's glare.

"Why not? It is the truth isn't it?"

"No it isn't, I cheated on your father, not the other way around. I suspected that he was cheating on me so I had a affair with a Air Force General." Deb said, looking back in Jack's eyes.

"What? You lied to me? And who is the General, do I know him?" Jack said.

"His name is George Hammond, he said he knew you, which is why I didn't want to tell you about him." She replied.

"GENERAL HAMMOND!?!? WHAT?" Jack said, throwing his arms up into the air, giving up.

"Hey, I'm not interrupting anything am I?" Sam said, walking into the room drying her hair with a towel.

"Oh no, nothing indeed, My mom just told me that she has been sleeping with General Hammond, but it's nothing." Jack said, as he stormed out of the room, up the stairs.

"Jack.." Sam called after him.

"What?" He said turning around to face her.

"It is your mother's life you know, you can't get all that mad." Sam said, setting the towel down on a bar stool.

"Thank you Sam, that is what I wanted to say but my son is stubborn and never listens to anything I say. But I guess he gets that from me." Deb said, sighing.

"Jack! Get back here and apologize to your mother!" Sam said giving Jack the sternest look she could muster.

"For what? Sam this doesn't involve you! Stay out of it!" Jack said descending down the stairs.

"Both of you stop it! Like Sam said, it is my life. I don't want to bother you two with it, I'll just get a hotel room." Deb said as she headed towards the door.

"No, you will stay here, just like Jack wants you to, right honey?" Sam said, smiling sweetly at jack as she started up the stairs to him. "Cos if you don't let her stay then you will be sleeping on the couch." Sam mumbled softly so only Jack could hear her.

"Mom, I do want you to stay, it is your life and I shouldn't have overreacted." Jack said, giving into Sam.

"Thank you.. Now I’m going back out, I just forgot my purse." She said, picking up her purse, "I’ll be back around 10 or 11pm, ok?" she added, as she opened the door.

"Okay mom. See you then." Jack said, glancing at the clock.

"Bye Deb!" Sam added, as Jack finds his way backward up the staircase.

Deb left, closing the door behind her.

"I need to talk to you, honey." Jack said, nervously leading Sam upstairs.

"Bad news or good news?" Sam asked curiously as they reached the bedroom door.

"Why don’t you decide.." Jack said, taking Sam’s hand, leading her to sit on the bed.

"Oh, Okay." Sam said, sitting next to Jack on the bed.

"Err..."Jack said nervously, "Sam, you made me come alive again, would you do me the honor of becoming my bride."

"Marry you? Oh wow, this is unexpected, but YEA! Of course, I have never wanted anything else so much." Sam said, as she threw her arms around Jack embracing him in a hug.

"Hey, if we combine our ranks, ya think our kid could be a General?" Jack said as he wrapped his arms around Sam, causing her to explode into a fit of giggles. "No giggling." He muttered as she kissed him, causing both of them to fall back on the bed.

1 month later:

"Ohhhh I love weddings! Especially when my best friend is the one getting married." Janet said , walking out of the dressing room in a powder blue satin bridesmaids dress.

"God I hope I don't mess up on my vows or trip or something!" Sam said, turning away from the vanity with a nervous face. "How do I look?" She said, standing so Janet could get the full view. Her dress was remarkable. This white straps that were attached to the tight bodice, the fabric clung tightly to Sam's waist and just flowed after that, on the bottom of the dress it was embroidered with lily's. In the back, her train trailed on for about 4 feet, which was also embroidered with lily's.

"You look great! Don't worry one bit." Janet said, giving Sam a reassuring hug.

Just as Sam turned back around to pick up her bouquet Daniel stepped in the room saying "5 minutes ladies, Oh you guys look great." He walked over to Janet giving her a light kiss on the lips. "How's she doin?" He asked her.

"Nervous." Janet replied.

"As expected." Daniel said with a smirk. "Jack is just as nervous."

"He is?" Sam said, putting the finishing touches on her hair.

"Oh yea.. well I'd better get back to showing people to their seats, you guys have to many friends.." Daniel muttered as he walked back out of the room and to Jack.

As he approached Jack, he noticed that Jack was fidgeting even more. "Settle down Jack, she looks great."

"Oh I know, I just don't want to mess up on my vows." Jack said, moving his tie around for the 10th time.

"O'Neill on my planet, we have a saying, 'Do not expect what one shall not receive'" Teal'c said from Jack's left side.

"Thanks Teal'c, very profound."

"You are welcome O'Neill

The wedding went as smoothly as possible, Afterwards, Jack talked with General Hammond and realized that he made Jack's mother very happy.

Both couples are still together and Sam and Jack are expecting their first child together. (And no she will not be a General.. Hehehe)
