Sam walked into Janet's office and slumped into the chair opposite the doctors desk. "Looks like you've had a good day" Janet quipped.
"Don't get me started. I swear I don't know if I'm male or female any more." Sam sighed.
"What have those guys done now?" She sat back in her chair and looked at her best friend. She looked tired.
"Nothing really. It's just that I seam to spend all day here trying to be one of the guys, and failing miserably, but I don't even remember the last time that I've felt like a woman. I mean last time I think I fully kissed a guy was due to a damn alien virus!"
Janet shook her head, "Sam I hate to say it but the only reason the guys can't treat you like one of them is because you're so damn gorgeous and they're probably too busy having improper thoughts about you. As for the last time you felt like a women, who's fault's that? I mean when was the last time you went out?"
"Janet that's easier said than done around here."
"You're on down time for the weekend aren't you?"
"Yeah, but..."
"No buts. I'll pick you up at eight okay. We'll go out have a few drinks and see if we can find some guys that'll make us feel like women." Janet grinned mischievously.
"On one condition." Sam replied. "We don't go to any of the base hangouts. If we do this I want to be Sam, not Major Carter."
"Deal. Now get out of here so I can finish this paper work."
"Yes ma'am" Sam laughed as she rose out of her chair. As she got to the door she turned back to her friend "Thanks Janet."
"No problem Sam."
#######
At eight o'clock sharp Sam's doorbell sounded. Taking one last glimpse in the mirror she went over and opened the door, to be greeted by her friend. "Hi Janet. Hey you look good."
"Oh my god Sam look at you!" Janet took in the sight of her friend. Sam was wearing a short, black, A-line skirt and a blood red, crocheted top. A pair of strappy high heels made her look even taller than normal.
Sam laughed "I'll take that as a compliment shall I?"
"Oh yeah! Come on, let's go."
Sam grabbed her bag, locking the door behind her and they headed for Janet's waiting car. "Okay, so where are we going?" Sam asked, not sure if she really wanted to know.
Janet had obviously picked up the trepidation in her voice and gave her a reassuring smile. "Relax. I found this little club across town. It's too classy for flyboys so we can be anonymous for the night."
"Sounds good."
Twenty minutes later the pair had arrived at the club. The bouncer on the door glanced appreciatively at the two women as they entered, a low whistle escaping his lips.
"Hey that's a good start Sam, we only just got here!"
"Come on Janet. I need a drink." Sam said with a smile as she ushered her friend toward the bar. "Black Russian thanks." She asked the *very* cute bartender.
"And I'll have a Long Hard Screw Against the Wall" Janet added, with a straight face.
The bartender grinned before turning back to Sam. "Sure you don't want something a bit more adventurous? Perhaps a Sex on the Beach? Or maybe a Screaming Multiple Orgasm?"
Sam giggled "Okay. Screaming Multiple Orgasm sounds good." She shot the bartender one of her smiles and Janet was sure he had started to drool.
"Oh it is good, believe me."
As the bartender moved off to make their cocktails Janet raised an eyebrow at her friend. "And you don't feel like a woman hey. We've been here two seconds and you've got nearly every guy lusting after you already!"
"Slight exaggeration Janet" she replied, not noticing the two guys that had walked up behind them.
"Excuse me ladies, would you care to join us? We have a table over there."
Sam turned around and gave them a smile before turning to Janet, who had an 'I told you so' look on her face. "Yeah sure" she replied, raising from the stool she was sitting on. The first guy, who introduced himself as Rick, paid for their drinks and ushered them over to a table.
#############
Jack and his friend, Jeff, walked into the club and Jack immediately regretted taking up the invitation. The place was nice enough, but the music was loud and it was pretty packed. They pulled up seats at the bar and ordered a beer each. "This place looks a bit too classy for us Jeff." Jack said, taking a swig of his beer.
"For you maybe. I'm a business exec. now remember. Any way, you never know mate, might even get lucky in a place like this. The women are classy and most of them are gorgeous!" Jeff told him with a grin.
Janet walked up to the bar to order another round. She turned to her left and noticed a very familiar face down the other end, talking to a rather cute guy. "Colonel O'Neill, fancy seeing you here." Janet said as she walked up behind him.
He whipped around to see her standing there with a rather amused smile on her face. "Uh... hi doc. What are you doing here?"
"I should be asking you the same question. I was assured this place was too classy for flyboys."
Jack laughed. "Jeff's idea. Jeff, this is Janet Frasiar. Janet, my buddy Jeff Waters, who by the way is an ex flyboy." Janet gave Jeff a seductive grin as she gave him her hand. Instead of shaking it Jeff raised it to his lips and kissed it. Jack shook his head. "So doc. You never told me what you're doing here."
She peeled her eyes away from Jeff's to look at Jack. 'This should get an interesting response' she thought. "Oh I thought Sam needed a night out" she told him nonchalantly.
Jack looked up quickly. "Sam's here?" he asked, eyes already scanning the room.
"Yeah, on the dance floor" she replied with an innocent smile. The smile turned into a full fledged grin as Jack's jaw dropped open, obviously having spotted her. She looked over and saw Sam dancing rather seductively with Rick.
Jack's jaw clenched as Rick put one leg in between hers and, with hips locked, dipped her. As she came back up her face was inches from his and Jack had to look away. He took a long pull of his beer. Looking back as the song ended he saw her go up and talk to the DJ before heading over towards them. As she got closer she noticed Jack, and a look of surprise and embarrassment crossed her face briefly.
"Colonel. What a surprise." She said, giving Janet a look that clearly said 'this better not be a set up'.
Janet only shrugged as Jack introduced Sam to Jeff. "What happened to Rick?" Janet asked, seeing what could only be described as jealousy cross Jack's face.
Sam laughed. "He couldn't keep up so I propped him over in the corner with is friend."
"Okay this next song is for Sam and her friend Janet, who are having a girls night out. Guys out there better watch out for these two!" The DJ bellowed over the speakers.
Sam grinned and grabbed Janet's arm. "C'mon, we gotta dance to this!" she said as she dragged her friend onto the dance floor. Janet had to laugh as she heard what song Sam had requested.
Wild women do
And they don't regret it.
Wooh!
They started dancing, knowing that Jack and Jeff were watching them closely.
You tell me you want a woman who's
As simple as a flower.
Well if you want me to act like that,
You'd better pay me by the hour.
Don't want to travel in the danger zone
Take another number
Don't want a lover who can hold her own
Baby step aside if you don't want to ride
Because
Janet was surprised that Sam seemed to be having more fun under the watchful eye of her CO. She was almost teasing him with her dancing. 'Oh well if you can't beat them...' She thought to her self, letting herself get lost in the music.
Wild women do
And they don't regret it
Wild women show
What they're goin' through
Wild women do
That you think they'll never
What you only dream about
Wild women do.
Both women screamed out the words, dancing and laughing. They were aware that nearly every eye in the place was on them and were loving the feeling.
You think that love is a vision of
A princess in a picture
Well let me tell you something, little boy
You wouldn't know love if it hit ya
Scared of someone who is off the wall
Kickin' and a screamin'
Don't you want a lover who can do it all?
Listen to me Jack
I ain't holdin' back
Cos
Sam looked directly at Jack as she sang that verse, accentuating his name. Shivers ran down his spine at the intensity of her eyes and the implication of the words, but he couldn't look away.
Wild women do
And they don't regret it
Wild women show
What they're goin' through
Wild women do
What you think they'll never
What you only dream about
Wild women do.
The two women made there way back over to the bar, still laughing. "Wow" Jeff said with raised eyebrows. "Wild women's right!"
Janet laughed. "Well when you have to be one of the guys all day it's nice to get out and show the real you. Hey Sam."
"Hell yeah!" Sam replied with a smirk.
The bartender came over and asked them if they wanted a drink. "Yeah I'll have another beer thanks. Sam, do you want something?" Jack asked, looking into those sparkling blue eyes.
"I'll have another Screaming Multiple Orgasm please" she replied, looking straight at him. Even in the pale light, she could see him blush a bright red.
Janet saw the exchange and was shocked at Sam's forwardness. They had discussed her feelings for Jack many times, normally with Sam denying everything and Janet saying she was a fool for not going for it, but here she was dropping innuendo's left, right and center. She looked behind Sam and saw Rick heading toward them. "It seems your friend Rick has got his second wind," she said to Sam.
"Damn, I thought he was out for the count." she returned with a sigh.
Before she could protest, Jack was up and pulling her, past a surprised Rick, to the dance floor. As he turned towards her, pulling her to him, he was relieved that the DJ had put on a slow song. He pulled her body against him, placing both hands on the small of her back. Sam put her arms around his neck and looked into his dark brown eyes. As soon as there eyes met, there was nothing but the two of them and the words to the song.
There was a time
I was everything and nothing all in one
When you found me
I was feeling like a cloud across the sun
I need to tell you
How you light up every second of the day
But in the moonlight
You just shine like a beacon on the bay
And I can't explain
But it's something about the way you look tonight
Takes my breath away
It's that feeling I get about you, deep inside
And I can't describe
But it's something about the way you look tonight
Takes my breath away
The way you look tonight
With your smile
You pull the deepest secrets from my heart
In all honesty
I'm speechless and I don't know where to start
And I can't explain
But it's something about the way you look tonight
Takes my breath away
It's that feeling I get about you, deep inside
And I can't describe
But it's something about the way you look tonight
Takes my breath away
The way you look tonight
Janet looked up as the song ended and saw her two friends kissing in the middle of the dance floor, still swaying slightly. "Well look at that" Jeff said beside her. "I told him he'd have a great time if he came out with me."
Janet laughed. "Do you know how long it's taken to get those two together?"
Jeff rose from his stool and held out his hand. "How 'bout we give them another push and get out of here. Jack can drive Sam home."
##########
"I can't believe she just left me there!" Sam said as she walked into her apartment.
Jack grinned as he closed the door behind him. "Maybe she didn't want to interrupt."
"Mmm maybe" she replied, going across and kissing him again. She turned and walked out into the kitchen. Jack followed her and sat down on one of the chairs while she filled the kettle. When she turned around she caught Jack staring appreciatively at her, with passion filled eyes. "Enjoying the view?" she asked seductively, walking over to him. She straddled his legs before sitting down on his lap. "You know this wasn't exactly what I thought would happen tonight." She kissed him on the lips before moving down his neck.
Jack was finding it hard to concentrate. "You know Sam, we don't have to do this." He was worried that it was the alcohol talking and he didn't want to rush things with her, she was too special.
"I want to" she whispered against his neck before resuming her sweet torture.
"I just don't want us to do anything we'll regret in the morning."
Sam looked into his eyes and saw the concern. She also saw the desire there and knew that neither of them would regret it. She grinned mischieviously at him. "You heard the song earlier 'wild women do, and they don't regret it'." She kissed him passionately to prove her point.
Jack's hands moved from her thighs up to her waist, taking her skirt with them. He could feel the softness of her skin under his rough hands and his body was already reacting, straining against his jeans. "In that case how 'bout another Screaming Multiple Orgasm?" He whispered in her ear. She giggled, getting up and leading him to the bedroom.
