Für jetzt und für alle Zeit

 

Es war ein wunderschöner Abend. Die Sonne ging gerade hinter den Bergen unter, als Sam und Jack es sich auf dem Dach gemütlich machten.

"Jack...." kam es zögernd über Sams Lippen.

"Ja, Liebling?"

"Liebst Du mich?"

"Ja - natürlich!" kam die prompte Antwort und mit einem Lächeln der Nachsatz: "Habe ich Dir das nicht gestern Nach mehrmals bewiesen?"

Sam schlug ihm spielerisch auf den Arm.

"Das meinte ich nicht.... Es ist nur... alles ist so neu.... passierte so schnell..." Ihre leiser werdende Stimme ließ Jack aufschauen.

Er sah Sam tief in die Augen, als er das Lippenbekenntnis des gestrigen Abends wiederholte: "Ich liebe Dich, Samantha Carter. Für jetzt und alle Zeit. Und an diesen Worten solltest Du niemals zweifeln."

Dann nahm Jack sie in seinem Arme und küsste sie leidenschaftlich.

It was a beautiful evening. The sun just settled down behind the mountains when Sam and Jack got comfortable on the roof.

"Jack..." started Sam hesitantly.

"Yes, darling?"

"Do you love me?"

"Of course, I do." Came the prompt reply. And with a smirk on his face he added: "Didn't I show you how much last night?"

Sam slapped him playfully on his arm.

"That's not what I meant... It's just... everything is so new... it happened so fast." Her fading voice made Jack look up.

He looked her deep in the eyes, as he repeated yesterday evening's vow.

"I love you, Samantha Carter. For now and for all time. And you should never doubt these words."

Then Jack took her n his arms and kissed her passionately.
