She was never mine to begin with, I only borrowed her for awhile.

I knew it from the beginning... from the first time I saw them together, I knew I would only be second best. He was who she wanted. I was who she would settle for.

Truth be told, it was the same for me. I was looking for Jolinar; I found Samantha.

But Jack had found her first.

And, now, as I watch them together... really together... I can't even be jealous.

Because she was never mine to begin with, I only borrowed her for awhile.
