Author's notes: After all the tradegy of this past week, I decided to inject a little goofy-ness into my life by writing humor stories/poetry. Everything is lighthearted…and the poetry is really bad. As always, flames will be used to light my grill. Mmm - steak!

Fun in the Sun

The light soon filled the sky.
It was painful to my eyes.
For what I did witness there.
Was Sam standing here.

As beautiful as ever.
I began this endeavor.
Sun glistening gold.
Her eyes were so cold.

Her eyes narrowed.
Her fist barreled.
Right in my heart.
Like a dart.

My hands caught her.
We fell together.
Back into the cool water.
At the local amusement park.

We splashed and frolicked.
And everyone saw it.
But not having a care.
I threw my love in the air.

Ignoring her screams.
I smiled like sunbeams.
As my head went under.
I did not blunder.

And pulled my wife down with me!
