I never realized how hard this is, how rough they have it.

I've always been the one going through the Gate.

Now I'm the one waiting in the SGC.

And I hate it.

I hate not knowing what's going on with them.

Who knows what will happen without me to protect them?

Now that sounds selfish.

But guys - especially my guys, are not known for their ability to stay out if trouble.

My nails are chewed down to nothing.

What's going on?

Shouldn't they be back yet?

Oh - they have an hour.

How can I wait one whole more hour?
