Colonel Jack O'Neill swayed gently to the music, holding the love of his life in his arms. Country music wasn't his first choice in music but this song seemed to have been written just for them, the words were exactly what he wanted to tell her.

  You can feel it from my heart
  From here on after
  Let's stay the way we are right now
  And share all the love and laughter
  That a lifetime will allow.~

This was his wedding day, the day that he thought would never happen, but with true love and loyal friends, not to mention death, aliens and alternate realities thrown in, they had finally made it. The words of the song said it all, from the first day he saw her, and she challenged him, he just knew. ~I cross my heart

Major Samantha Carter-O'Neill, WOW, that has a nice ring to it. The perfect song to start our life together, almost a renewal of marriage vows.

Jack's arms tightened around Sam, "You happy?" he murmured in her ear. "Oh yes" she replied snuggling into his neck, "I love you", "I love you too Mrs O'Neill"

As the newly married couple swirled around the dance floor, they were watched with pride and love by those who had helped to finally bring this about. General Hammond looked almost as proud as a father, Jacob had a grin about a mile wide on his face. Janet and Cassie just stood arm in arm wiping tears from their faces, while Teal'c had a glimmer of a smile on his face, and somewhere in the air around them they could feel Daniel's love swirling with the dancers.
