His thrusting was insistent, as was her need for release. His hand traveled down her body to where they were joined, to rub against her, eliciting a delicate moan from her full lips, swollen from their earlier frantic kissing. He grinned, pleased that he could turn this strong woman into a quivering mess with minimal effort.
"Yes….." She groaned, urging him faster.
He wasn't going to argue.
Jack awoke with a start, jolting upright in bed. The sheets were sticking to his sweaty body and a few stray beads of sweat rolled down his neck to drip onto his shoulders.
He couldn't help but feel the after effects of that dream. It was the third night in a row that he'd dreamt of Samantha Carter in *that* way, and it was rather disconcerting. She was a fellow officer, a soldier, his second in command, someone he trusted with his six, and someone that he respected, he shouldn't be dreaming of her like that, it was demeaning.
The locations always changed though. The first night, he'd dreamt that they had been on a pool table at O'Malley's. The second night it had been on the General's desk, and this one had been located in the infirmary.
It wasn't like the dreams themselves were bad, it was just awkward trying to look at Carter during the day and not remember what his subconscious had conjured up the night before. Sure, he had some pretty deep feelings for her, as Anise had oh-so-graciously made him point out, to a room full of people no less. And, naturally he dreamed about her quite often. But it was never *these* kind of dreams. They were about marriage, and children, and a life together, not quick screws at the most convenient places
This wasn't supposed to happen to him.
He was on the wrong side of forty, Special Forces trained, and a grown man for crying out loud! And, what was worse, was that he respected her too much. It made it rather difficult, especially when she made a sound that resembled his Dream-Carter (As he was now calling her) And his body would react accordingly.
Wasn't this the kind of thing that happened to a 15-year-old who'd just hit puberty?
If Daniel and Teal'c had noticed his current distraction around Carter, they weren't saying anything about it, which he appreciated. What made all of this seem even worse, was that they were going on a mission this morning and they would be on P8A-139 for two nights. Which likely meant, two more dreams, with the real Carter only a few feet away from him.
Jack groaned, this wasn't going to be easy.

P8A-139 was too damn hot for his liking.
They were sweating, carrying heavy packs and they had all lost their jackets within minutes of exiting the wormhole. The MALP had predicted nice weather, comfortable weather. Not this sweltering heat that had hit them like a physical blow when they had stepped out of the Stargate.
"Sir." Carter called, trying to catch the attention of her commanding officer. He had seemed distracted all morning. She knew, from experience, that he was on alert, but that was only the trained part of him reacting naturally to the unfamiliar surroundings. The rest of him was somewhere else.
Jack snapped out of his contemplation of the heat to look at Carter. Her cheeks were red, her lips swollen and she had beads of sweat on her brow. She looked exactly like she did in his dream. "Carter?" He asked, clearing his throat a little.
"I'm detecting Naqudah readings about three miles north sir, I think we should check it out." She told him, studying the readings on her hand-held Naqudah detector that Siler had made her for Christmas.
Jack was momentarily thrown by the sound of her soft voice, but he began to concentrate when he saw Teal'c studying him intently. "Three miles?" He grimaced.
Carter nodded slowly, understanding his reluctance to travel in this heat wave. "Yes sir."
Sighing, he turned to look in the direction that she had stated the Naqudah would be. There were a few trees here and there, but they would be in the sun for the majority of the trip. "Let's move out kids!" He called with more enthusiasm than he felt.
Daniel quickly fell into step with Jack. "Are you feeling okay?" He asked, having noticed his withdrawn behavior.
"Fine." Jack lied. "Just tired, I haven't been sleeping well." He admitted.
"Shouldn't you have seen Doctor Fraiser and gotten something for it?" Daniel asked, concerned.
"She can't cure this." Jack muttered, but not quiet enough. Daniel heard his comment, but chose to ignore it.
Jack was glad.

It was happening again.
He could feel the familiar settings of another dream slowly creeping into his brain. It was the same as usual, they were acting normal, the way a CO and 2IC should, but he knew that it wouldn't last long.
They were at a formal party for the SGC and pentagon. The President was speaking to Jack, but he had long ago lost interest in the conversation. Since it was formal, the invitation had strictly required them to wear formal dress, which made him feel rather uncomfortable in the monkey suit that was his dress uniform.
He had been listening to the President speak about what an honor it was to have such fine people serving at the SGC, when he had made the mistake of looking over the other man's shoulder.
She had walked down the thirty odd steps that led to the large hall, and she hadn't even been aware of the eyes that followed her as she walked. The blue dress was figure hugging, spaghetti straps, and midnight blue. Jack had never seen anyone look more amazing.
The dress moved with her as she walked, and stopped a few steps from the bottom to scan the room, searching for someone that she knew. Sam smiled at Hammond, grinned at Janet who had given her a thumb's up and gestured to her dress, and she had felt a rush of desire flare through her upon seeing him.
Of course, she had seen him in his dress blues before, but tonight seemed different, seemed to have more of an effect on her. They had locked eyes of the President's shoulder, and she had sucked in a sharp breath at the look she found in them.
Sam couldn't help but blush at his intense gaze.
A conversation seemed to be held between their eyes, and they both seemed to agree. Jack excused himself from the tedious conversation, with the excuse of needing to pee, although he phrased it a little more delicately, and Sam had blatantly ignored anyone who attempted to speak to her as they both headed towards one of the rooms of setting the hall.
The room was a bedroom of sorts, the Presidential suit if they weren't mistaken, but as the door slammed behind her and she felt Jack push her up against the back of it, Sam decided that the location didn't matter.
Their was little time for fancy words and meaningful looks, they both knew that sooner or later someone would come looking for them, but it didn't seem to mean anything as their bodies joined.
As she screamed, he didn't try to silence her. As he cried out she made no attempt to hush him, and as Hammond, Janet and the President entered the room to investigate the noises, neither bothered to acknowledge them.
Jack continued to thrust into her and Sam continued to meet him thrust for thrust, neither caring about their audience who were sanding at the door, open-mouthed.

Simultaneously, Sam and Jack awoke with a start, jolting upright. They had both been laying on their sleeping bags, despite the heat, and their sweat soaked bodies had started to create pools of moisture in the material.
Letting out a shaky breath, Sam ran a hand through her hair, turning to see if she had awoken any of her team mates, she was surprised to see her CO sitting up much in the same state as she.
"Did I wake you?" She panted, watching as he tried, and failed, to control his breathing.
Jack shook his head. "No."
Sam swallowed as her head swam with pheromones, and she felt the evidence of her bodies reaction to the dream still dampening her thighs. "Bad dream?" She asked, trying to make the uncomfortable silence that had descended upon them dissipate.
He though for a moment, trying to decide on an answer that was diplomatically vague, yet satisfying to her curiosity. After all, it wasn't like he could tell her what he was dreaming about. "You could say that."
Daniel was snoring softly behind them, and Teal'c was deeply in Kel'no'reem mode, so Sam kept her voice quiet. They had send a UAV to the planet before `Gating here and discovered that the whole planet was uninhabited, so they didn't need to keep watch.
"You?" He asked.
"What?"
"Bad dream?"
"Um….." Sam though for a moment, deciding on the best answer. "I was dreaming about some Formal Ball and I was in a dress." She shrugged, trying to act nonchalant. "Boring, huh?"
Jack nearly choked. "Boring….yeah."
"What'd you dream about?" She asked, trying to take the focus away from her dream, pleasant as it may have been, discussing it with him was *not* an option.
"I was talking to the President, that's all I really remember." He shrugged, and Sam pale in the moonlight. "You okay?"
Sam swallowed hard. "Yeah." She nodded, unconvincingly.
Pursing his lips together, Jack though for a moment. "Out of curiosity, what color was the dress you were wearing in your dream?" He asked.
"Ah…..blue, midnight blue, I think, why?"
"I have a very ominous feeling." He admitted. "I think we may have shared the same dream."
"Oh." She nodded, and suddenly, a penny dropped and her eyes widened in shock and embarrassment, a blush creeping up her neck to her cheeks. "Oh!"
Jack nodded. "Yeah, oh."
"Is this the first time you've had that…..dream?" She asked, nervously.
"*That* dream? Yes, first time." He replied, convinced and satisfied that he hadn't lied completely.
"But you've had other ones, like…..that?"
"The last three nights in a row." He blurted, barely registering that he had even said it until the words had left his mouth in a hurry.
"Me too." She nodded, letting out a long, drawn out breath. "A pool table, Hammond's desk and the infirmary, right?"
Jack nodded his head in conformation. "What did you dream the night before O'Malley's?" He asked.
"Um….." Sam scrunched up her face in concentration. "I dreamed that Daniel fell in love with Apophis, who was serenading him with songs out of `Grease'." She couldn't help but laugh.
"Ah. Well, I dreamed about flying through the SGC, so this only started when our dreams got a little more….." He searched his vocabulary for the right word.
"Erotic?" Sam supplied.
"That too." Jack nodded.
"Why are we sharing dreams?" Sam wondered aloud.
Jack swallowed, unable to believe that he was having this conversation. "I think the better question is why are we having *those* kind of dreams."
"I don't usually dream things like that." She hurriedly assured them.
"Don't worry Carter, neither do I." He agreed.
"What do we do now?"
"Hope for a good night's sleep?" Jack laughed at the irony.
"Like that'll happen."
"Carter, do you think that this could all just be tension?" He asked. "Frustration about our…..situation?"
"I think so." She nodded, deciding that it was a good enough explanation. "Maybe our minds are just frustrated about the way things are at the moment."
"It'll happen for us, you know that don't you?" He asked, laying back down.
Sam followed suit. "I know."
Jack reached out and took her hand, and they both fell asleep with their fingers entwined.

Anubis sat back in on his throne and laughed.
Humans were so easy to manipulate with their feeble minds. All he had to do was release the new form of Nish'ta into their brains and they would share dreams, confusing them.
He had to admit, if only to himself, that they had passed his last test, even though they didn't remember it, and they had passed this one.
As long as he continued to study them and learn, he would have an even bigger advantage over them when his attack came.
And it would come.
