Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. or so they say.

You push someone and they fall.

You hit someone and they get a bruise.

You resign your commission, kiss your second in command and she pushes you away.

Only she doesn't.

She kisses you back.

Definitely equal, but not opposite. not even close.

So that leaves only some actions having an equal and opposite reaction.

And only some laws of physics actually having a solid basis in reality. I knew there was a reason I didn't understand this stuff.

Then again, some things are better without having opposites.
