"Carter?" Colonel O'Neill breaks my rhythm. "Whatchya doin'?"

"What does it look like?" I ask.

"You really wanna know?"

"I'm eating a Cadbury cream egg," I shoot back, unable to hide my annoyance at being interrupted.

"Like that?" he scoffs.

"Yes sir," I challenge. "Why, how do you eat yours?"
