Actually, by this time I think he should be great at the yoyo. You do know today is National Donut day. You CAN'T skip that!

Author's Response: You would think so, but I based Jack's skill on what we saw in season 4's "Divide and Conquer," in which he was fumbling either the Forward Pass or Around the World. It could have just been though, the fact that he was sitting down that made him fumble it vs not being able to do the basic trick. (Maybe his increased skill in later episodes was a result of Teal'c's tutoring!) As for National Donut Day: Sorry! Missed learning about it in enough time, but I'll mark it down for future. Great short story you could of added "Now how are we going to get back to the gate Carter... Tree hoping"

Yup nothing like it to make one more appreciative of the trees. lol Good day to celebrate but question is do those things ever let them out of the trees. lol.

Author's Response: Nothing like such a situation to give one a hug inducing appreciation of trees. As for those things, alien cousins to longisquamas, they will eventually depart (something new to chase perhaps?) but not quickly enough in Jack's opinion!
