This is a good story but isn't there a sequel? What happens to Jack?

Nice story. I have a condition similar to hemochromatosis, which is where the body reacts to iron. Many doctors think that women can't get it, as it's an "old man's disease" and "periods get rid of the iron", but it's bull. I overabsorb iron, and then my body treats it like as if it's a toxin. I get knocked about for a few days if I eat any red meat. So nice to see a story that proves that anyone can get any condition... regardless of age, gender, or whatever. I'm a 22 year old female with a good body weight for my height, and I got an iron disorder that supposedly only old men get. And periods don't get rid of iron. Over the course of a woman's period she loses about 2 tablespoons full of blood, most of the period is tissue. I've lost more blood during blood noses. The only reason you become anaemic during periods is if there's a pre existing condition, otherwise, women would get anaemic once a month!
Thank you again for writing a story that shows that any condition is possible. I'm lucky to have a good doctor who thinks outside the box. Not everyone is :)
