Great short story you could of added "Now how are we going to get back to the gate Carter... Tree hoping"

Yup nothing like it to make one more appreciative of the trees. lol Good day to celebrate but question is do those things ever let them out of the trees. lol.

Author's Response: Nothing like such a situation to give one a hug inducing appreciation of trees. As for those things, alien cousins to longisquamas, they will eventually depart (something new to chase perhaps?) but not quickly enough in Jack's opinion!
