I enjoyed this story. Sam's brother is named Mark. He lives in San Diego, Ca. That is more than 800 miles(1300 km)from Colorado Springs. That is a long motorcycle ride. I don't think she would do it in the winter. She could encounter temps. well below zero and snowfall of more than a foot when she gets into the mountains. It would not be fun. Most riders in that part of the country put their motorcycles away for the winter. Thank you for insisting she wear a helmet.
