"Jack...?" He knew what she was asking. He moved another step closer so that his body was almost touching her own. She could feel his breath lightly across her face as he spoke.
"You know we can't." She nodded mutely, staring at the collar of his shirt, not entirely sure she'd be able to hold his gaze.
"Oh, Hell." His words were a fleeting curse as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her against the length of him, claiming her lips with his own. Only after minutes did they breathlessly pull apart.
"No one can know."
"I know"
