some alien disease or illness or *something* takes over Jack so that he's not exactly in his right mind- but its not an obvious thing. At some point he rapes Sam (yes, still not in his right mind). Eventually they find a cure for him, and he & Sam have to deal with what happened. And just as an oh-so-soap-opera-ish extra: this is up to the FF writers, but maybe Sam could even get pregnant. But hey, she doesn't have to...

a) Daniel asks Sam what happened between her and Jack during his absence, but made a slip and asked what's goin' on between her and Jim. (Daniel could be tipsy or something, set your mind free).

Summary: 2003 Children Challenge. I can't remember having seen any children of the Tok'ra or the Goa'uld so maybe once they become hosts they can't have children because of their symbiote for some reason. With now Jack and Sam both having been Tok'ra hosts at one time, maybe it's affected them and they can't have children anymore. Perphaps the only way they can have a child is with each other because they've both been hosts. Something could happen between them and - because of their once being hosts - Sam finds out she's pregnant because she thought she couldn't have children.

Summary: 2003 Argument Challenge.
Someone write a Fic where Jack and Sam have an argument. Sam's feeling a little down in the dumps. So Jack (either by himself or the boys of SG-1) decide to do something about it. Now they can either do it in her lab, outside her bedroom window (some one complains if they do and Sam shouts at them) or in the gate room. Wherever as long as they sing, 'My Girl' by Temtations.

Summary: 2003 Urgo Challenge. based on the episode Urgo. When Sam is explaining about the EM pulse, she says that URGO has been trying to distract her. It seems to me that the best way to distract her is to make her think about Jack. Since Urgo can make SG-1 see him, maybe he can make them "see" other people. Perhaps URGO tries to distract her by giving her naked images of Jack or even images of she and Jack making love (I'd certainly be distracted in such a situation). He could also do the same to Jack or somehow link Sam's and Jack's thoughts so they share a fantasy - an interactive fantasy at that. Maybe neither realizes they are connected? Would anyone care to take up this challenge? Bonus points if you include the black bikini and Maui reference.

Summary: 2003 Avenger 2.0 Challenge.
Regarding the scene where Hammond is talking to Jack through the MALP letting him know that Sam had gated to the original target planet to fix the virus problem: It struck me that Jack sounded surprised and less than thrilled that Sam had gone to that goa'uld stronghold with nothing more than Felger as "backup". Write a fic that shows Jack's response from his conversation with Hammond to his arrival on the planet.
Preferrably: assume that Jack and Sam have a healthy, adult dialog regarding their feelings for one another (not an "Oh I wish I would have told her. What am I going to do if she's been taken from me? Why couldn't we have just ignored the regs?" melodrama).
REALLY preferrably: Under no circumstances may you use any variation of the line: "he let out the breath he didn't know he had been holding". For once, I'd like him to know he was holding his breath.

ok, anyone notice how jack was oh so helpful in offering to 'mate' with the Jaffa chicks? I mean, he seemed really disappointed that they weren't there just for mating purposes
well...what if the 'little woman' (yes, Sam) is a little perturbed at her buddy for being so willing to help the Xena fan club members?
The challenge is:

Summary: 2003 Blind Jack Challenge. Its has to be a S/J, and has to do with a certain part of the episode 'avenger' when an explosion happens near Jack. Now these are the parts that I would like in the story and other than them I dont care what happens....jack has to be blined by the explosion (either for a little while for forever) sam comes to his aid while he's at home trying to recoup, the fight (arguing about him never being able to see again) and fall in love (if it comes to that)

Summary: 2003 Chimera Challenge.
Write a fic about "Chimera". Based on the spoilers, write a fic about the episode. About Sam's feelings, Jack's feelings, the boyfriend's feelings - heck, write *Hammond's* feelings if you feel so inclined. Write how Sam and Peter (the boyfriend) got together. Write how they broke up. Write how Jack felt through all this stuff. If you like, try to write the whole episode as you see it panning out - I'm hanging out for a well-plotted, well-characterised, decently spelled and grammatically correct longfic, people!
And see if you can do it *without* demonising the boyfriend, hey?

Summary: 2003 Jack's Butt Challenge.
This story can be S/J UST, SJR or RST, with any rating. The circumstances for the event can be anything from mission-related, medical, or whatever.
What I want to see is a story where Sam sees Jack's butt - sans clothing - in a non-sexual atmosphere for the first time. It can be, not necessarily, intentional, or in a circumstances where there's no choice. She walks in on him changing, he's injured, she can't resist peeking in the shower, whatever you can come up with. some humor, and they can end any way you want to write it. The only thing that must be included is to have the event above taking place.

Summary: 2003 Rating Men Challenge.
Sam is sitting under a huge shade tree in a park having a picnic with some other women that she is on a (conference?) with. They are rating all the men (1 - 10) that walk past or are playing football etc around them. These women are old academy classmates of Sam and are slightly condecending about her choice of men. While one particularly nasty comment is made by one of the women, they all notice a really good looking grey headed man heading in their direction...

He tells Jay this story about how during the hockey playoffs he has to watch it alone because he has this ritual where he progressively takes off his clothes like some kind of cleansing strip hockey ritual.
